Application

Leadpaint film for building surfaces reference material (SRM) is intended to validate the results obtained from portable, hand-held, X-ray fluorescence analyzers while conducting lead testing in paint coatings on exterior and interior building surfaces.

Features and Benefits

  • Available with a certificate documenting NIST-certified values of total lead areic mass in cured paint and the values are based on measurements by isotope dilution inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ID-ICP-MS).
  • Certified values are metrological traceability is to the SI units for mass and length (expressed as milligrams percentimeter-squared).
  • The NIST certificate is provided with expiration certificate, storage, handling, use, and maintenance instructions.
