General description

Casein Acid Hydrolysate is obtained by degrading casein with hydrochloric acid; vitamins and other growth-promoting compounds are largely destroyed in the process. It is suitable for the preparation of culture media employed in the bacteriological assay of vitamins and antibiotic sensitivity.
