General description

Isofraxidin is a major active constituent, isolated from Sarcandra glabra plant with a variety of biological properties such as antifatigue, antistress, anticancer, immunoaccomondating and cholagogic effects.

Application

Isofraxidin may be used as an analytical reference standard for the separartion and quantification of the analyte in Sarcandra glabra plant and Acanthopanax senticosus Harms using different chromatography techniques.
