General description

Ginsenoside Rh2 is an active component of Red P. ginseng. It is reported to be obtained as a metabolite of ginsenoside Rg3, when anaerobically incubated with human fecal microflora.[1]

Application

Ginsenoside Rh2 may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in plasma samples using high-performance liquid chromatography technique.[1][24]
