Application

2-Methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one may be used as an antimicrobial preservative for the analysis of Ochratoxin A in spices using clean-up tandem immunoassay columns followed by confirmation by high performance liquid chromatography technique and in non-formalin products for wallpaper adhesives using gas chromatography technique.
