General description

Supplement A is an additional reagent for use in the SimPlate® total plate count and yeast & mold. SimPlate® Binary Detection Technology® combines proprietary media and a patented plating device to provide fast and accurate quantitative results for key groups of indicator organisms. Defined substrates incorporated into the media are utilized to detect multiple enzymes and redox reactions associated with the target organisms resulting in chromogenic or fluorescent changes to the media, providing easy to read results. Supplement A is added to SimPlate® trays to alleviate the air bubbles in the media.

Application

Supplement A is added to SimPlate® trays to alleviate the air bubbles in media for the detection of pathogenic organisms in foods, ingredients, and environmental samples without the need for optimization of reaction and cycle conditions.
