General description

Terbufos-sulfone is one of the major metabolite of organophosphorus pesticide terbufos, found to be toxic for living beings even at very low levels.

Application

Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. Contact Technical Service for further support.
Terbufos-sulfone may be used as a pesticide reference standard for the determination of the analyte:
  • In fruits, vegetables and milk samples by gas chromatography (GC) coupled with ion trap mass spectrometry (MS/MS).
  • In water samples by a dispersive solid-phase extraction method based on the use of multiwalled carbon nanotubes.
