The designations basic, plus, or prime are added to indicate the quality control level, from basic quality control to standard QC plus to prime for full regulatory compliance.

Preparation Note

Suspend 25 g in 960 ml distilled water. Heat in a water-bath at 50°C for approx. 30 minutes until completely dissolved. Add 40 ml polysorbate (TWEEN® 20) and sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes.
