General description

Ginkgolide C is an active constituent of Ginkgo biloba. The ginkgo leaves has several pharmacological properties, some of them being; improved blood flow, radical scavenging, vasoprotection, and anti-PAF (platelet aggregating factor) activity. Ginkgolide C along with the other active constituents of Ginkgo biloba, is responsible for the inhibition of PAF activity.
