General description

The ESP Sanitary Sampling Valve is ideal for sterile sampling of high purity water and other liquids in distribution lines or storage tanks. The valve can be sanitized effectively and easily to eliminate residual viable contaminants and prevent additional contaminant growth. The unique construction of the valve allows mid-stream sampling and prevents the accumulation of bacteria or particles inside the sampling probe.
The Luer-slip valve outlet is designed for the direct attachment of a Millipore bacteriological monitor or directing liquid flow into any type of sterile receiver. The 18-gauge blunt-end syringe needles are used for sanitizing the unit and the plastic caps to cover the outlet Luer-slip after sanitization.

Application

The ESP Sanitary Sampling Valve is used for on-line sampling and filtration of high purity water and other liquids. It is suitable for the traditional bioburden testing of beer, Dairy, Bottled water, Pharmaceutical products, Soft drink, Cider, Sport drink, and Wine.

Components

  • 18-gauge blunt-end syringe needles x 2
  • Spare O-ring x 1
  • Plug seal x 1
