Features and Benefits

Features:

  • Targets key pituitary hormones and neuroendocrine regulators
  • Includes 7 analytes covering stress response, reproductive function, growth, and metabolic regulation
  • Multiplex format enables simultaneous detection from minimal sample volume
  • Compatible with non-human primate serum, plasma, and tissue culture supernatant samples
  • Designed for endocrine, reproductive, and neuroendocrine research in primate models
Benefits:

  • Provides a detailed profile of pituitary gland function and hormonal balance
  • Supports evaluation of therapeutic interventions affecting endocrine and reproductive pathways
  • Facilitates monitoring of neuroendocrine signaling and metabolic regulation
  • Enhances understanding of hormonal interactions in translational primate studies
  • Streamlines experimental workflows with high-throughput, multi-analyte capability

General description

Pituitary hormones such as ACTH, FSH, GH, LH, and TSH are central to regulating endocrine function, stress response, growth, reproduction, and metabolism in non-human primates. ACTH stimulates cortisol release, FSH and LH govern reproductive cycles, GH promotes tissue growth and repair, and TSH regulates thyroid activity. Agouti-Related Protein (AgRP) influences appetite and energy balance, while CNTF supports neuronal survival and may modulate neuroendocrine signaling. Together, these analytes provide a comprehensive view of pituitary gland activity and its systemic effects in translational primate research
