Target description
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by the virus strain severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), a virus closely related to the SARS virus. A SARS-CoV-2 spike protein antibody can be used to support the detection of SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19, 2019-nCoV).
Physical form
Purified human recombinant monoclonal in buffer containing 20mM Tris and 50mM Glycine without preservatives.
Reconstitution
Please refer to guidance on suggested starting dilutions and/or titers per application and sample type.
Storage and Stability
Stable for 1 year at -20°C from date of receipt. Handling Recommendations: Upon receipt and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Aliquot into microcentrifuge tubes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
