General description

B-lymphocyte antigen CD19 (CD19), also known as Differentiation antigen CD19, is a transmembrane glycoprotein with two extracellular C2-type domains and is a critical signal transduction molecule that regulates B lymphocyte development, activation, and differentiation. CD19 expression is restricted to B cells, being absent from T cells, monocytes, and granulocytes. The CD19 antigen appears early during B cell maturation, probably at late pro-B cell stage around the time of Ig heavy chain rearrangement. It then persists during all stages of B cell maturation and is lost upon terminal differentiation to plasma cells.

Immunogen

Mouse CD19-expressing K562 human erythroleukemia cells.

Application

Anti-CD19 antibody (mouse), APC, clone 6D5 is a highly specific rat monoclonal antibody & that targets CD19 & has been tested in Flow Cytometry.

Quality

The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated with APC under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated APC and unconjugated antibody.

Flow Cytometry Analysis: 0.25 μg of this antibody detected CD19 in one million C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes.

Viruses activate inflammasomes but then subvert resulting inflammatory responses to avoid elimination. We asked whether viruses could instead use such activated or primed inflammasomes to directly aid their propagation and spread. Since herpesviruses are experts at coopting cellular functions, we

Human gammaherpesviruses Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and Kaposi's sarcoma-associated herpesvirus (KSHV) persist as life-long infections alternating between latency and lytic replication. Human endogenous retroviruses (HERVs), via integration into the host genome, represent genetic remnants of ancient retroviral infections. Both show similar
