Specificity

Human Talin. This antibody reacts with an N-terminal epitope in talin, between amino acids 139-433. On microinjection into whole cells MAB1676 disrupts actin stress fibers and focal contacts and inhibits cell motility.

Immunogen

Epitope: N-terminus, a.a. 139-433

Application

Anti-Talin 1 Antibody, N-terminus, a.a. 139-433, clone TA205 detects level of Talin & has been published & validated for use in IP, WB, IH.
Immunoblotting, recognizes a band at ~230kDa.

Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans produces a leukotoxin (Ltx) that kills leukocyte function-associated antigen-1 (LFA-1)-bearing cells from man, the Great Apes and Old World monkeys. The unique specificity of Ltx for the beta2 integrin, LFA-1, suggests it is capable of providing insight into

Blood clot contraction is driven by traction forces generated by the platelet cytoskeleton that are transmitted to fibrin fibers via the integrin αIIbβ3. Here we show that clot contraction is impaired by inhibitors of the platelet cytosolic protease calpain. We

m-Calpain is a protease implicated in the control of cell adhesion through focal adhesion disassembly. The mechanism by which the enzyme is spatially and temporally controlled is not well understood, particularly because the dependence of calpain on calcium exceeds the
