Specificity

Reacts specifically with human neutrophil elastase and not with the 3 homologous neutrophil neutral serine proteases, cathepsin G, esterase N and proteinase 3. Inhibits the elastinolytic activity of elastase. Elastase is felt to play an important role in a number of disease states.

Application

Anti-Neutrophil Elastase Antibody, clone AHN-10 detects level of Neutrophil Elastase & has been published & validated for use in IP, RIA & IC.
