Application
A highly nutritious medium suitable for the preparation of a blood agar that supports the growth of many fastidious organisms.
Preparation Note
Suspend 33g in 1 litre demineralised water. Boil whilst stirring until completely dissolved. Autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes. Cool to 45 - 50°C before adding heat-sensitive additives.
