General description

EZ-Fluo Reagent Kit is a part of the EZ-Fluo Rapid Detection System to address contamination events sooner. The kit consists of a reconstitution reagent, fluorescence reagent, staining buffer, plastic storage bag, and transfer pipettes to operate 57 tests. The EZ-Fluo method is based on a unique, non-destructive, fluorescent marker. After filtration and incubation of the recovered microbes, the staining reagent is applied. Initially, the reagent is colorless but on interaction with viable and culturable cells, a ubiquitous intracellular enzyme produced by the living cells cleaves the substrate and releases the fluorophore. On accumulation of the fluorophore, the signal is amplified and can be detected with the EZ-Fluo reader.

Application

The EZ-Fluo Reagent Kit, used as part of the EZ-Fluoez-fluo Rapid Detection System offers an efficient method to detect microbial contamination in filtrable samples such as raw materials,In-process samples, final products, and environmental samples.

Features and Benefits

  • Rapid and accurate quantitative detection of contaminants
  • The staining procedure is non-destructive
  • A reliable alternative for the detection of microbial contaminants
