General description

10 Canisters of 100 absorbent pads is sterile, 45mm diameter are used to reinforce filters in Millipore′s monitors for contamination analysis. When saturated with growth medium, they can also be used for culturing microorganisms on membranes. To increase flow rate and throughput, our woven mesh spacers can be placed between filters in a serial filtration to prevent the downstream screen filter from "blinding" the upstream filter pores. The absorbent pads prevent the membrane damage during high pressure or fast flow conditions. The pure white cellulose material used in these absorbent pads have been sampled, tested and conforms to the specifications.

These pads find application in Clinical, Cosmetics, Environmental, Food and Beverage, Industrial QC and Pharmaceutical industry.
Microbial analysis of beer, bottled water, cider, sport drink and wine by membrane filtration method.
