General description
Also known as Lysine-specific demethylase 5D, this histone demethylase is specific for ′Lys-4′ of histone H3 and is known to play a central role in histone function and spermatogenesis. It demethylates trimethylated and dimethylated, but not monomethylated H3 ′Lys-4′. Uniprot.org states two different isoforms of this enzyme.
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to human JARID1D.
Application
Immunocytochemistry Analysis: 2 µg/mL from a representative lot detected JARID1D in mESCs.
Immunoprecipitation Analysis: A representative lot immunoprecipitated JARID1D in human testis tissue lysate.

Cancer discovery, 13(6), 1478-1497 (2023-02-28)
Oncogenic mutations in isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1) and IDH2 occur in a wide range of cancers, including acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and glioma. Mutant IDH enzymes convert 2-oxoglutarate (2OG) to (R)-2-hydroxyglutarate [(R)-2HG], an oncometabolite that is hypothesized to promote cellular
