This Anti-Nerve Growth Factor Antibody, pro is validated for use in WB, IH for the detection of Nerve Growth Factor.
Western blotting: 1:200-1:500 using ECL on His-fusion protein containing the entire prodomain of rat proNGF.
Immunohistochemistry on rat brain sections.
Dilutions should be made using a carrier protein such as BSA (1-3%).
Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

Physical form
Affinity purified immunoglobulin. Lyophilized from PBS, pH 7.4, containing 1% BSA and 0.025% sodium azide. Reconstitute with 50 mL of sterile distilled water. Centrifuge antibody preparation before use (10,000 x g for 5 min).
Storage and Stability
Maintain lyophilized material at -20°C for up to 6 months after date of receipt. After reconstitution maintain antibody and control peptide at -20°C in undiluted aliquots for up to 6 months. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Analysis Note
Control
Included free of charge with the antibody is 40 μg of control antigen (lyophilized powder). The stock solution of the antigen can be made up using 100 μL of sterile distilled water. For negative control, preincubate 1 μg of purified peptide with 1 μg of antibody for one hour at room temperature. Optimal concentrations must be determined by the end user.

Modulation of rat parasympathetic cardiac ganglion phenotype and NGF synthesis by adrenergic nerves.
Autonomic neuroscience : basic & clinical, 145(1-2), 17-26 (2008-11-21)
Cardiac function is regulated by interactions among intrinsic and extrinsic autonomic neurons, and the mechanisms responsible for organizing these circuits are poorly understood. Parasympathetic neurons elsewhere synthesize the neurotrophin NGF, which may promote postganglionic axonal associations where parasympathetic axons inhibit
International journal of developmental neuroscience : the official journal of the International Society for Developmental Neuroscience, 71, 111-121 (2018-08-31)
A decrease in the concentration of oxygen in the blood and tissues (hypoxia) produces important, sometimes irreversible, damages in the central nervous system (CNS) both during development and also postnatally. The present work aims at analyzing the expression of nerve
Neurogastroenterology and motility : the official journal of the European Gastrointestinal Motility Society, 24(12), e580-e590 (2012-10-18)
Nerve growth factor (NGF)-mucosal mast cell (MMC) interaction has been implicated in the remodeling of enteric circuitries and associated functional changes. We investigated the involvement of NGF and its receptor TrkA in the altered colonic contractile activity observed in the

Accumulating evidence indicates that epilepsy has a higher risk of inducing memory impairment and dementia. However, the underlying onset mechanism remains unclear. Here, we found that mice with spontaneous epilepsy induced by endothelial CDK5 deficiency exhibited hippocampal-dependent memory impairment at
