Gene Information

rat ... Il1B(24494)

Specificity

Reacts with rat Interleukin-1beta (IL-1beta).

Immunogen

Highly pure (>98%) recombinant rat IL-1beta.

Application

Anti-Interleukin-1β Antibody is an antibody against Interleukin-1β for use in ELISA, WB, NEUT.
ELISA: 0.5 μg/mL this dilution will allow detection (in direct ELISA) of

0.2-0.4 ng/well when rat IL-1(is used to coat the plate.

Western blot: 0.1-0.2 μg/mL, this dilution should offer detection limit of 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Neutralization: to yield ½ maximal inhibition (ND50) of the biological activity of rat IL-1beta (0.2 ng/mL), a concentration of 0.09-0.14 μg/mL of antibody is required.

Final working dilutions must be determined by end user.

Increasing evidence shows obesity and poor metabolic health are associated with cognitive deficits, but the mechanistic connections have yet to be resolved. We studied rats selectively bred for low and high intrinsic aerobic capacity in order to test the association

Microglia activation and associated inflammatory response are involved in the pathogenesis of different neurodegenerative diseases. We have reported that Notch-1 and NF-κB/p65 signalling pathways operate in synergy in regulating the production of proinflammatory mediators in activated microglia. In the latter

In response to cerebral ischemia, activated microglia release excessive inflammatory mediators which contribute to neuronal damage. Therefore, inhibition of microglial over-activation could be a therapeutic strategy to alleviate various microglia-mediated neuroinflammation. This study was aimed to elucidate the anti-inflammatory effects
