Gene Information

human ... DBH(1621)

Specificity

Recognizes Dopamine beta hydroxylase. AB1585 reacts with a single band on Western blots of bovine adrenal homogenates and stains only cells known to contain DBH, such as sympathetic neurons, adrenal medullary cells and central adrenergic neurons. Staining is abolished by preincubation with enzyme.

Immunogen

Native enzyme from bovine adrenal glands.

Application

Detect Dopamine β Hydroxylase using this Anti-Dopamine β Hydroxylase Antibody validated for use in IH, FUNC, RIA & WB.
Immunohistochemistry: 1:2,000 on rabbit and guinea pig using an ABC detection method.

Western blot

RIA

Inhibitory studies in vivo and in vitro.

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

Programmed cell death occurs naturally at different stages of neural development, including neurogenesis. The functional role of this early phase of neural cell death, which affects recently differentiated neurons among other cell types, remains undefined. Some mouse models defective in
