General description

Highly purified BSA powder manufactured by a proprietary heat-shock fractionation process, followed by treatment to lower fatty acids and lipids. This albumin contains one of the lowest levels of total lipids, fatty acids and free fatty acids of any commercially available albumin. Endotoxin and IgG levels are also very low to absent. This bovine albumin product may be used for cell culture applications as well as a stabilizing agent and for blocking of nonspecific binding. Purity is = 98%; typical purity is 100%.
