General description

A cell-permeable quinuclidinone analog with anti-tumor properties. Induces p53-dependent apoptosis in human tumor cells through restoration of the transcriptional transactivation function to mutant p53. Restores sequence-specific DNA binding and active conformation to mutant p53 proteins in vitro and in living cells. Suppresses tumor growth in mice with no apparent toxicity. Induces apoptosis in breast cancer cells expressing mutant p53.
A cell-permeable quinuclidinone analog with antitumor properties. Restores biochemical and biological function to mutant p53 and induces p53-dependent apoptosis in vitro and in vivo. Induces apoptosis in breast cancer cells expressing mutant p53.
