General description

A unique alternative to bovine serum albumin (BSA). Prionex® Reagent is a polypeptide fraction of highly purified dermal collagen of porcine origin that is free from cartilage, bone and plasma components and that can be considered as an extremely pure form of gelatin type A. Used as an inert protein stabilizer in many applications. Also useful as a blocking agent and as a protective additive in cell culture.
