General description
A nitric oxide (NO) donor similar to NOC-5 (Cat. No. 487950), NOC-7 (Cat. No. 487952) and NOC-12 (Cat. No. 487955) but with an enhanced half-life. Useful for the controlled release of NO in solution. Induces dose-dependent apoptosis in macrophages. Inhibits lipoprotein oxidation induced by Cu2+in vitro. Half-life (t½) in PBS, pH 7.4 is 3400 minutes at 22°C. Relatively stable in alkaline solution (pH ≥10.0).
A nitric oxide (NO) donor similar to NOC-5 (Cat. No. 487950), NOC-7 (Cat. No. 487952), and NOC-12 (Cat. No. 487955) but with enhanced half-life for NO release (t½ = 3400 min; PBS, pH 7.4, 22°C). Useful for the controlled release of NO in solution. Induces dose-dependent apoptosis in macrophages. Inhibits lipoprotein oxidation induced by Cu2+in vitro.
