General description

The MILLIPLEX® MAP Total/Phospho Akt (Catalog No. 48-618MAG) and Total/Phospho ERK (48-619MAG) Magnetic bead kits have been developed for the simultaneous detection of phosphorylated Akt (Ser473) and total Akt or phosphorylated ERK1/2 (Thr185/Tyr187) and total ERK in a single well using the Luminex system. These detection assays are rapid, convenient alternatives to Western Blotting and immunoprecipitation procedures for the analysis of cell lysate samples.

Specificity

Cross-reactivity between the antibodies and any of the other analytes in this panel is non-detectable or negligible.

Application

Intracellular Bead-Based Multiplex Assays using the Luminex technology enables the simultaneous relative quantitation of multiple phosphorylation or total pathway proteins in tissue and cell lysate samples. An overnight (4°C) incubation is recommended for best results. This assay requires 25 μL diluted cell lysate per well. This kit must be run using Assay Buffer 2 (provided).1 - 25 μg cell lysate/well (recommended starting concentration is 40 to 1,000 μg protein/mL)Analytes available:Erk (Total)Erk (Thr185/Tyr187)

Packaging

96-well plate
