General description

Recombinant, human monocyte chemotactic protein-1 expressed in E. coli. A potent chemoattractant for human monocytes and mouse peritoneal macrophages. Its effects are proposed to be mediated by P2-integrins.

Physical form

Lyophilized from sterile-filtered PBS, 50 µg BSA/µg MCP-1.

Reconstitution

Following reconstitution, aliquot and freeze (-70°C) for long term storage or refrigerate (4°C) for short term storage. Stock solutions are stable for up to 1 month at 4°C or for up to 1 year at -70°C.
Reconstitute to a concentration ≥10 µg/ml with sterile PBS containing at least 0.1% HSA or BSA.
