    This kit contains WST Solution (1x5mL), Enzyme Solution (1x100μL), Buffer Solution (1x100mL), Dilution Buffer (1x50mL), and a manual.  

  4. What equipment is required to use Product 19160, SOD Assay Kit (Superoxide dismutase)?

    The equipment needed to use this kit is a plate reader (450 nm filter), a 96-well microplate, 10 μL & 100-200 μL pipettes, a multichannel pipette and an incubator. Superoxide dismutase (SOD) is also necessary for the preparation of an inhibition curve.

  5. How do I prepare a WST working solution for Product 19160, SOD Assay Kit (Superoxide dismutase)?

    Dilute 1mL of WST Solution with 19mL of Buffer Solution.

  6. When using Product 19160, SOD Assay Kit (Superoxide dismutase), how do I prepare an Enzyme working solution?

    Centrifuge the Enzyme Solution tube for five seconds.  Mix by pipeting, and dilute 15μL of Enzyme Solution with 2.5mL of Dilution Buffer.

  7. When using Product 19160, SOD Assay Kit, how do I prepare a Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) working solution?

    Dilute SOD with Dilution Buffer to prepare SOD standard Solutions if necessary for assay monitoring as follows:  200 U/mL, 100 U/mL, 50 U/mL, 20 U/mL, 10 U/mL, 5 U/mL, 1 U/mL, 0.1 U/mL, 0.05 U/mL, 0.01 U/mL, and 0.001 U/mL.
