General description

GranuCult® Plus m-Green Broth is a complex media designed to cater excellent fungal growth. The acidic pH in the medium inhibits bacterial growth with an exception of acidophilic bacteria.
The media composition includes Peptones, acting as a rich source of nitrogen, carbon, and amino acids. The addition of Yeast extract ensures an abundant supply of vital vitamins, while Dextrose serves as an energy source.
To maintain the perfect equilibrium, Potassium phosphate acts as a reliable buffering agent, stabilizing the medium′s pH levels. This medium also includes Magnesium sulfate, thiamine, and diastase, which provide a range of essential ions, minerals, and nutrients, crucial for robust fungal growth.
Bromocresol green acts as a pH indicator and facilitates visualization of fungal growth in the broth.

Application

GranuCult® Plus m-Green Broth is used for the detection of yeast and molds in soft drinks and other beverage samples.
