General description

A potent, cell-permeable, and specific activator of the exchange protein activated by cyclic AMP (EPAC) (also called cAMP-guanine nucleotide-exchange factors or cAMP-GEF) in vitro and in vivo. Does not have any effect on protein kinase A (PKA). A useful tool to discriminate between EPAC and PKA. 5 µmol = 2.54 mg. λmax = 282 nm.
