General description

Raptor is a subunit of mTORC1 which regulates cell growth and survival in response to nutrient and hormonal signals. mTORC1 is activated in response to growth factors or amino-acids. Within mTORC1, Raptor positively regulates mTORC1 activity and functions as a scaffold for recruiting mTORC1 substrates.

Specificity

This antibody recognizes Raptor phosphorylated at Thr706.

Immunogen

Epitope: Ser706
KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to human Raptor phosphorylated at and around Thr706.

Application

Detect phospho-Raptor (Thr706) using this Anti-phospho-Raptor (Thr706) Antibody validated for use in WB, DB.

Quality

Evaluated by Dot Blot in modified and non modified peptides of phosphorylated and non-phosphorlyated Raptor protein.

Dot Blot Analysis: 1 µg/mL of this antibody detected Raptor in modified and non-modified peptides of phosphorylated and non-phosphorlyated Raptor protein.

Target description

~ 150 kDa

Physical form

Purified rabbit serum in PBS with 0.05% sodium azide.
