General description

90 kDa calculated
STAT5B (signal transducers and activators of transcription 5b) controls the expression of early response genes and takes part in cytokine signaling. Studies have linked this protein to the inhibition of NFkappaB-mediated signaling. Additional studies have shown an association of STAT5B with regulation of lactation and growth, performance, and control of adipocyte function. Constitutively active STAT5B expression is often observed in a large number of leukemia’s and solid tumors.

Immunogen

Epitope: Acetylated Lys701
KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to human STAT5B acetylated at Lys701.
