Ractopamine is a drug used as a feed additive to promote growth and leanness in food animals raised for their meat. Ractopamine is the active ingredient in animal drug products including Paylean for swine or Optaflexx for cattle. This certified solution standard is suitable as starting material for calibrators and controls in LC or LC-MS/MS testing of animal feed or animal products such as meat, muscle or liver.
