General description

4-Hydroxyamphetamine, also known as 4-HA, para-hydroxyamphetamine, and α-methyltyramine, is a drug that stimulates the sympathetic nervous system. It is a major metabolite of amphetamine and certain substituted amphetamines. This Certified Spiking Solution® is applicable for use in urine drug testing, clinical toxicology, or forensic analysis applications by LC-MS/MS or GC/MS.
