General description

A certified Snap-N-Spike® solution suitable for use as starting material in calibrators and controls for fentanyl LC/MS or GC/MS testing methods in clinical toxicology, urine drug testing, prescription monitoring, or forensic analysis applications. Acetyl fentanyl is a designer drug and fentanyl analog with a potency 40 times greater than heroin and 80 times greater than morphine. This Certified Spiking Solution® is supplied in a convenient, quantitative, US DEA-exempt solution format and with TK #s for Canadian customers.

Application

  • Analytical detection in biological samples: Acetyl fentanyl was included in a methodological study using both GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS for the detection of nine fentanyl drugs in hair samples.
