Application

16:0 PEG350 PE is suitable for use in the preparation of Pdots and to differentiate based on shell′s composition. It might also be used in membrane preparation to study water dynamics.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Polyethylene glycol (PEG) conjugated phospholipids are useful in liposome formulation and are used as drug carriers. PEGylated lipids maintain the stereochemistry of liposomes. The formation of mixed micelles is supported by the use of highly concentrated PEG-lipids.
