Application

18:1-12:0 Biotin PE or 1-oleoyl-2-(12-biotinyl(aminododecanoyl))-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine has been used during the liposome preparation to make liposomes detectable during standard flow cytometry. It is also suitable for labelling phospholipid vesicles.

Biochem/physiol Actions

1-oleoyl-2-(12-biotinyl(aminododecanoyl))-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine or biotin PE is majorly used in the formation of lipid vesicle in supported lipid bilayer.
