General description

Flexible backed TLC plates (supplied in a single 20 x 20 cm size) offer you economy and convenience. They can be cut with scissors to match individual separation requirements, making them ideal for applications that require rapid sample isolation or elution prior to other analytical techniques (e.g., scintillation counting).

Features and Benefits
  • Silica gel 60Å flexible plates exhibit similar selectivity to the glass backed K6 plates and are widely applicable for moderately to strongly polar analytes (available on aluminum or polyester backing material)
  • DEAE cellulose anion exchange plates with polyester backing are used for separating anions
  • Aluminum backing is particularly useful for applications requiring charring
  • Polyester backed plates can be heated up to 110°C and are compatible with mobile phases containing strong acids or bases
