General description
The Scienceware auto-desiccator cabinet has a permanent desiccant of silica gel contained in an electrically operated control section so no desiccant tray is needed. The gel absorbs moisture from cabinet contents and is automatically regenerated, cyclically, maintaining a 30 to 40% relative humidity.
A green light turns on for the drying cycle for a 4 1/2 hr. absorbtion period, and a red light turns on, indicating 1/2 hr. regeneration of the desiccant.
Made of molded clear methyl-methacrylate consruction, the cabinet also contains two adjustable shelves with vent holes, a door-mounted dial hygrometer, and door gaskets.
