Application

SDASO-S (succinimidyl diazirine sulfoxide) is mass-spectrometry cleavable heterobifunctional cross-linker, which can be used in the analysis of protein structure, or protein-protein interactions. SDASO-S is photoactivated, allowing for the first time photocross-linking of proteins, and rapid, accurate analysis by MS.

Product can be used with our line of photoreactors: Including Penn PhD (Z744035) & SynLED 2.0 (Z744080)

Cross-linking mass spectrometry (XL-MS) is a powerful tool for studying protein-protein interactions and elucidating architectures of protein complexes. While residue-specific XL-MS studies have been very successful, accessibility of interaction regions nontargetable by specific chemistries remain difficult. Photochemistry has shown great
