Application

N-((S)-1-((4S,5S)-4-Benzyl-5-phenyl-4,5-dihydrooxazol-2-yl)-2,2-dimethylpropyl)acetamide is a chiral ligand developed by Jin-Quan Yu′s lab for Pd(II)-catalyzed enantioselective β-C(sp3)H arylation, alkenylation, and alkynylation. This mono-protected aminomethyl oxazoline (MPAO) ligand was used in the challenging desymmetrization of isopropyl groups.
