General description
- The storage temperature should not exceed 35 °C.
- Keep tightly closed. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area.
- Do not expose to ultraviolet light.
- High temperatures (>80 °C), pressure and contamination with peroxides may result in auto-polymerization of the product.
- Unstable upon depletion of inhibitor.
Application
- Cures extremely rapidly to form a glassy, high modulus material.
- Excellent for use in optical applications.
- High refractive index - 1.54.
- High impact absorption.
- Non-yellowing.
- No oxygen inhibition.
- Mechanical Properties after curing:
Strength*: 2.8MPa
Elongation*: 51%
Tack Free**: 130 fpm
*Test resources: Tensile tester, 35mm gauge length, 1.0 mm thickness, 6.5 mm width.
** Cured under stated intensity. Medium pressure mercury bulb with 320-500 nm filter. Adhesion tests were conducted using a cross hatch tape test on films 0.125 mm thick on glass and PET. Material Data using ASTM D 638-02a.
