General description

We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Greener Chemistry. This product has been enhanced for energy efficiency. Find details here.

Application

Rhodium on alumina (Rh/Al2O3) (5 wt. % loading, matrix alumina support, powder) is utilized as a catalyst for the steam reforming of ethanol for use in hydrogen production using molten carbonate fuel cells. Rh/Al2O3 can also be used as a catalyst in the production of hydrogen from sodium borohydride (NaBH4).
