General description

o-Toluidine undergoes chemically oxidative polymerization with aniline in the presence of ammonium persulfate as an oxidant in HCl medium[1].

Application

o-Toluidine was used in determination of glucose in biological materials[2]. It was used as precursor in the synthesis of poly(o-toluidine) and copper nanoparticle composite material[3].
