MAP1LC3B基因(微管相关蛋白1轻链3β)是酵母中的自噬相关基因ATG8的一种同源基因。编码的蛋白质称为pro-MAP1LC3B,这是一种被ATG4裂解以产生MAP1LC3B-1胞浆形式的前体形式。 小鼠单克隆抗LC3B抗体(小鼠IgG2b同种型)来源于LC3B-6杂交瘤,该杂交瘤是由小鼠骨髓瘤细胞与用对应于人LC3B N末端区域的合成肽免疫的BALB / c小鼠脾细胞融合产生。
免疫原
对应于人LC3B的N-末端区域的合成肽,与KLH耦合。相应的序列在大鼠和小鼠中相差一个氨基酸。
生化/生理作用
在自噬过程中被插入至生长中的自噬囊泡的内膜和外膜前,MAP1LC3B-I(微管相关蛋白1轻链3β-I)会结合MAP1LC3B-II。MAP1LC3B的细胞分布和加工有助于对自噬进行监测。缺乏MAP1LC3B的细胞被发现在自噬囊泡的形成中存在缺陷,其改变的表型与自噬在能量稳态和蛋白聚集体去除中的作用相关。它可作为一种自噬的标志物。
