General description
Human leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF) Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit is an in vitro assay for the quantitative measurement of human LIF in biological samples, such as serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, urine, and/or cell and tissue lysates. LIF protein is a monomeric glycoprotein and a member of the interleukin-6 (IL-6) family of cytokines. This protein acts in an autocrine and paracrine manner. LIF participates in several biological processes like an inflammatory response, embryonic implantation, cancer progression, differentiation of leukemia cell, neuronal development, and stem cell self-renewal.
