生化/生理作用
核黄素是氧化还原辅因子黄素腺嘌呤二核苷酸(FAD)和黄素单核苷酸(FMN)的关键组成部分,这些辅因子供多种黄素蛋白氧化还原酶、脱氢酶、脱羧酶和电子转运蛋白使用。核黄素参与各种细胞过程,包括脂质代谢中的β氧化、葡萄糖代谢、保护免受细胞氧化损伤、DNA和RNA代谢、糖异生、红细胞生成和皮质类固醇的产生。核黄素缺乏会导致核黄素缺乏症,出现咽喉痛、充血、口腔和粘膜水肿、唇干裂和舌炎等症状。
