常见工作浓度:在植物组织培养基中1.5-2.5 g/L;在微生物培养基中最高10 g/L。Phytagel™需要阳离子(特别是二价)用于凝胶的发生。大多数植物组织培养基中通常含有的钙和镁浓度足以实现凝胶化。低盐培养基配方,特别是那些用于微生物应用的可能需要补充额外的钙或镁盐(如CaCl2或MgSO4)或更高浓度的Phytagel。
