应用

来自面包酵母′（酿酒酵母）的磷酸葡萄糖异构酶的用途：
  • 在血清甘露糖酶法测定中，用于将果糖-6-磷酸转化为葡萄糖-6-磷酸。
  • 作为四酶之一，用于四酶联合反应测定磷酸甘露糖变位酶(PMM)活性 。
  • 在葛根果糖含量测定中，将果糖转化为葡萄糖。

磷酸葡萄糖异构酶(PGI)对于D-葡萄糖-6-磷酸和D-果糖-6-磷酸的相互转化至关重要。PGI负责糖酵解的第二步，并参与葡萄糖生成和磷酸戊糖途径。它在细菌和真核生物中高度保守。PGI在烟曲霉(A. fumigatus)存活中起重要作用，在发育、细胞壁葡聚糖生物合成和毒力中发挥多样作用。磷酸葡萄糖异构酶可用作异构酶、神经白细胞素、自分泌运动因子，以及分化和成熟介质。
